Hi Clive,

Yes, your points are valid also...but I think that if an IT service provider gets in the door, there's a good possibility for follow-up, non-Y2K, business. There's also the issue of cost, Jetcom and Grupo TCI might provide a more cost-effective way of maintaining their Legacy Systems. This could free-up inhouse COBOL staff to get (and want to be!) trained and work on more current technology (my opinion only).

One final point, didn't CGI start out as an IT Y2K service provider? I always thought that Y2K was the original core of their business which GREW to be much more than that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
