Why do you think AMD(a co. I dislike) is selling so many chips now, price, not quality. At some point price matters, a better comparison is Hyundai's, a POS in my opinion but they sell at 10K vs a 18K car. Anyway a more informed poster told me that Dell does have a $1200 box available so I am glad to see they recognize the lesson Intel has learned. jim
