Since it's quiet, I'll say HELP -- I hear MSFT is planning to buy me!! Weby Ah -- CM I should have bought myself when you suggested it. You should have bought cmgi and fvhi when I suggested it. The longs usually come out when they have something to say!!! so a few thougts on a down day For real longs 1/ this quarter's earning don't matter much. 2/ Many of us are far beyond where we thought we'd be in Dec. 3/ For long longs intelligent P/E do count and at 30X $ 1. Seek looks like a very reasonable buy by traditional standards. Personally, I find that very relaxing -- since I've got enough hyper internet stocks to keep me jumping. The egrp board is nuts today cause the stock went down a couple of points on the news after a 50% run-up in two weeks. Bet their's some interesting news in the morning....Harry seems to like to call attention to earnings after the pre screw-up 2 quarter back. This time, I'll hedge -- The deal and SEC regs may keep things quiet. Also of note is a deal between French phone and DT which may have seek implications down the road. Weby
