Need help from someone in the biz... The following is info about LU's ATM switches... "...With more than 30 service provider customers in nine countries around the world, the GlobeView-2000 is the most widely deployed 20 gigabit-per-second core ATM switch on the market. Lucent Technologies Bell Labs has demonstrated terabit ATM switchin g capability -- the ability to enable next-generation communications networks to handle a trillion bits of information at once -- using the GlobeView-2000 switch fabric..." -- Would like someone to explain this boast (about being the most deployed 20 gig switch on the market)...is this a bs marketing ploy since NN has 12.8 gig and no exactly 20 gig??? NN already has a one tera switch?? (per their website, they do) NN is therefore at least a half step in front of LU? How does Yurie fit into this picture? (reputation of products, r&d, general sentiment of people at Yurie about LU acquisition).. many tia v/r tony

Zbyslaw -- I noticed Aware and Orckit, both ADSL companies, announced higher revenues, as well. Granted they had losses, indicating the high cost of getting the market seeded, but at least it shows increased interest. Today's volume and price were especially impressive considering the over-all market. Pat
