Did the portfolio include some losers earlier in the year that have been recently sold? The reason I ask is that I find it hard to believe a portfolio including such outperforming stocks as AOL, AMZN, and LU could still be underperforming year-to-date. KLAC has done poorly, but hardly enough to offset the gains of AOL, AMZN, and LU.

I would guess the portfolio is outperforming, but that's just my guess.
