Ok, so they admit their mistakes and are making adjustments to recover. This is a very big hit.

So if you roll up the numbers going forward, subtracting out the ongoing costs from the changes, and adjusting the revenue downward based on current conditions, where does this leave us 6 to 9 months from now?

Will institutions hold or bail out?

Notes from conference call off of Yahoo thread (Rob, does this match what you heard?)

"found on the Yahoo thread" under Messages for IDTI:

At this point revenues for next qtr could be flat to down modestly. This sucks but would be consistent with
other predictions that September would be the bottom of the down cycle. The company only shipped
80,000 Winchips in the first qtr. down from the 100,000 they shipped in the forth qtr.. They have already
billed 80,000 for the current qtr. and we are only three weeks into it.

Five major OEM's are sampling and they would expect to announce a deal by the December qtr but
suggested that this could happen sooner rather than later.

Clear logic is on track to have revenues of $5-10 million this fiscal year growing to $30 million next year
and $50 million the following. Their biggest problem is they must increase their offerings. They have
qualified with a major company already.

Winchip 2 with 3D now will be in production at rates of 275-MHz - 310 MHz by December.

Winchip 3 will be sampling in Dec. to Jan at rates of 400 MHz initially increasing to 600 MHz. They will
be in production in March 99.

Company may seek a partner for other business segments. Discussions have already begun.

Depreciation expense was too high due to addition of new fab. San Jose is being closed because real
estate is worth four times what they initially paid.

IBM has already produced Winchips. IDT may look to expand their agreement to cover copper
technology.

In summary, put this puppy away for another 6-9 months! How ever, I think it's interesting to know the
shareholder rights plan expires in December so anything is possible. The company probably has a
liquidation value of $12-$13/ share including the 30% ownership in QED.
