re: sentiment moving average vs current. I think many models use 4 week MA partly because it is more likely to include almost all newsletters which come out at different times of the month. I personally try to put it into context. The sentiment tends to be a lagging indicator of the market in that many are technicians in the survey and tend to be more positive after the market has moved up. While 70% is disturbing the correction we are in now depending how much it is and how long it lasts is likely to cause a reduction in next weeks survey since there's about at least a one week lag time Marc
