Steve,
Thanks for the post. I simply cant speak about how other firms, mm's handle your order. Etrade probably routes everything to some mm firm, like MASH, NITE or HRZG. Ask them. They are required to tell you. If it doesnt trade through you, you arent entitled to a print, it could have been done away.

Hopefully you read Gary Smith's article on the street.com about penny wise-pound foolish.

You should know 100% where you stand with orders, whether its been done, where's your bid/offer, whats ahead, how the stock is acting and if you want a cancel , should be able to get that in seconds.

If you are interested in selfdirecting your trades, have the skill and understanding of the markets, the time to do so, and trust and believe in systems that are 100% reliant on internet, I would call Ross at MBTrading. If you want a firm to handle it for you for about $30, $35 a trade, call us.

Regards,
Steve@yamner.com

If you want meaningful answers to your execution questions, you have to provide specifics ... were there order modifiers, was it listed, ticker, # shares, etc., etc. Did you ask your broker why you weren't filled? Did you ask for time & sales? You're getting what you paid for if they won't help you.
