GARY!!! you sold CSCO. You hurt my feelings :) Sorry to hear that you were holding CA. Guess if you had to do it over again you'd have sold that instead of your CSCO and your ASND. Do you really think ASND will pull back to 48? I think the rumors about a buy are still strong. ERICY, LU, and ALCATEL are all in it - aren't they? Remember LU has been screaming lately..they have the stock valuation to pull it off without much difficulty. JMO OG

OTOT** Gary, sorry to hear about the CA. I unloaded my Russian phone stocks yesterday for a very nice 2-week gain and reinvested the whole lot today in Globalstar (GSTRF) at $25 -- hoping for a double by year-end. Iridium (IRIDF) (its main competitor in the global satellite biz) should be operational in late 9/98 and will generate lots of media and retail stock interest. From what I've read, GSTRF has better CDMA technology and a much lower cost to the user. Do you have other stock ideas? I've got some extra cash burning a hole in my pocket? djane
