My succinct thoughts on the obvious . . .

1. What other choice does a 2-3 million short position have? They are short and they must induce selling so they may cover. Letting it go up won't induce selling, not with this earnings report and momentum. Nope, that would bring BUYING in by the droves and feed the momentum. Should you just cover? Nope. Pure suicide. Instead, you must wait. You let the position out a small amount, suck up all the buying you can until you think it is through and you go for a final assault and see how many shares you can panic out. You have to. WHAT ELSE COULD THEY DO THAT WOULDN'T RESULT IN FINANCIAL RUIN???

2. What happens when your final assault that took as much net capital strength as this one did (THANK YOU NUTSTOO!!!!!) actually didn't result in any net selling on the day????? If you figure in the real buying today (probably at least 500k of the first 700k) and Nutstoo's 200k and the 100k that was bought up at the end of the day at 2.50, boy sure doesn't seem like the MMs were able to cover on their short position AT ALL!!! And wasn't that their goal??? They may have technically made money today by dropping the price like they did, but they STILL HAVE TO BUY BACK JUST AS MANY SHARES AS THEY EVER HAVE HAD TO. The net short position in all likelihood DID NOT CHANGE TODAY. All that buying today didn't even allow them to whittle down their short position (thank you again Nutstoo!!). So what happens when the morale of shareholders is NOT broken, when not nearly the amount of bananas are shaken from the tree that you expected, and instead buying starts to come back in??????

3. This will surely be tested over the next few days. I won't be shocked whichever way it goes. If we gap up and head straight back up, you can bet your ass that these shorts are absolutely toasted beyond recognition. That would mean that there are simply no shares coming loose and too many buys for them to short out. Remember, at 2.50 this stock is so dirt cheap, it's frightening. Alternatively, they could try to short more shares but the cheaper they make it, the more buying they will see show up. And remember, they want SELLING not BUYING. So somewhere they need a couple of million shares to get coughed up. I'll be real curious to see where they come from!!!! Sure some small investors are panicking but that won't account for Nutstoo and some of the other bigger players that have begun stepping up in light of the earnings report. No way!!!!

4. NOTHING HAS CHANGED FUNDAMENTALLY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! 75% revenue growth. 81% earnings growth. .15 eps for the quarter. .245 eps for the first 6 months. Near perfect balance sheet. Trailing PE of 8. Forwared eps for 1998 likely is .40+. Deals with leaders in the industry like Polaris and Mercury. A market expanding by leaps and bounds thanks to NAFTA. SEC reporting status very soon. You cannot defeat fundamentals. You just can't. No way. Not on a growing company with everything in place.

5. Ask yourself this. HOW MANY OF THOSE THAT SOLD OUT WILL LOOK TO GET BACK IN AT A LOWER PRICE??????? :) Get my drift. Remember the MMs are looking to reduce their NET short position. They can't do this when all the shares that are being sold are going to be bought back again. LOL Where's the shares they are covering with if this happens??????

6. 2 days ago, this would have been our all-time high. I too am disappointed that today was not the "breakout" day we all hoped for, but each time we move up, we are getting stronger and stronger. There is no doubt, today's takedown was a very intentional, vicious assault to try to break our unity. Notice how they sucked up incredible volume on buys and dropped it on 1k blocks. Nice try. I guess they do whatever they think they have to do. As I said before, WHAT ELSE COULD THEY HAVE DONE?? Our next move up ought to be the clincher. They did this back at 1.50 by taking her down to .90 in a day. Guess what, we were back knocking at $3 today. It doesn't work.

My best to everyone. Tell your friends and loved ones to have their wallet open because anything at 2.50 or lower is yet another gift from the MMs to pick up shares you missed on the first go-round. On our next move up, I suspect it will be the last time we EVER see 2.50 again.
