Maybe this might clear things up a bit. I sent an e-mail to the company a few days ago asking about what was going on. I received a message from Ed Hook, ONSS' investor relations man (I wish I could copy it directly, but I don't know how to unfortunately, so I'll paraphrase here). Mr. Hook said Mr. Stoppelman's main emphasis was on his securities practice, not ONSS' day-to-day operational activities. He also said the hiring of Jack Sabanosh in the newly-created COO position is to allow Chris Weiler to spend more time on strategy and promotion efforts. According to Mr. Hook, "Chris is our best salesman and we needed him doing more with our customers and we are already seeing the results of his efforts."
Regarding the CFO situation, I'll quote directly: "As far as the CFO is concerned, our former CFO went out to pursue other interests and we hired Al Duncan because of his vast financial expertise and experience and we know he is the right CFO to take us to $100 in revenues fast!" [that's presumably $100 million/revenues]
The final paragraph: "Good things are on the horizon for OnSite and we will be issuing subsequent press releases to announce them. We are constantly pursuing relationships in our IT arena and other areas of the company where it makes sense."
One note: in my e-mail to the company, I did not ask the circumstances of Mr. Stoppelman's death. But perhaps the response from the company might help clarify some things about the company.
