I am starting to read the ragingbull thread in addition to Yahoo and SI. Si has a tenuous hold on my loyalties. If I don't feel reading and posting here makes me money, I'm gone. I have shorted many stocks over the past year including ZITL, ZONA, AOL, Yahoo, BFIT, and others. I never found it necessary to lie about being short and I have never bashed a stock where I had no financial interest. Those that do, well people are fools to believe anything they say.

I am having to re-assess the way I trade. Averaging up when I have a big winner is becoming dangerous when people can bash a stock down 60% plus so easily. Buying and holding big winners is becoming dangerous. We all dream of finding a stock like DGIV that we can ride for 10 or 20 baggers. But that dream can very easily turn into a nightmare here.

Regards, Bill Purcell

"All our individual complaints seem to be useless" is correct.Several months ago I lost my password and id here for posting. I sent an E-mail to SI and was answered by the "Webmistress" that it could not be given to me because "I either did not include it or erased my E-mail address from my Profile "Luckily I did find my PW,however, giving SI the benefit of the doubt that I even had to give it in the first place then this is a "breeding ground" for bashers and negatives etc as one can just erase their E-mail address from their Profile and log on under a different alias etc.and SI has no means to keep track of them.

Contrast this with NY Times (www.nytimes.com) where you must register and provide an E-mail address and you are not allowed to post on their site unless you answer an E-mail they send you. You can not erase your E-mail address and if you lose your ID and PW you must click on this fact and then you need to check your E-mail and you are provided with just your ID. You must then click on their Website URL from the E-mail and only form the E-mail(there is no other way) and you will go to a URL where you then put in a PW of your choosing and they also ask for another word such as say your mothers maiden name in case they need to double check. Sort of discourages what SI encourages.
