Max, good luck with PSIX. I know that you've been eyeballing it for a while now.

Amigo Mike posted earlier that he is making Dell his number one pick for the next 30 days. Understandable, since the small caps are stuck in quicksand. I like to offer up a big cap also.

Amigos y Amigas, Cloresteral reducing butter is coming to our supermarkets. I have heard that it is selling as fast as it gets put on the shelves in Europe. My pick is JNJ. I'll be checking the options
later tonight.

<McNeil Consumer Products Company Acquires Worldwide Marketing Rights for Benecolr from Finland's Raisio Group

Fort Washington, PA (March 2) -- McNeil Consumer Products, a Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) company, today announced it has acquired from Finland's Raisio Group (Helsinki: RAIVV.HE) exclusive worldwide marketing rights to the patented dietary ingredient stanol ester. Marketed in a margarine in Finland under the name Benecolr, stanol ester had been clinically proven to reduce cholesterol by inhibiting its absorption.

Today's announcement follows the letter of intent signed by McNeil last November to expand geographic scope of its licensing agreement with Raisio from North America to markets worldwide. McNeil was granted exclusive North American marketing rights to stanol ester in July 1997.

"Given the strengths each of the players brings to the table - McNeil's consumer and professional-education experience, Raisio's expertise in stanol ester research and development, Johnson & Johnson's international network - Benecol's prospects for success as a worldwide brand are greatly enhanced," said Tor Bergman, executive vice president, Raisio Group.

Stanol ester, the dietary ingredient in Benecol, is derived from naturally occurring plant sterol. Already present in small amounts in the average diet, plant sterols have been studied sine the 1950's for their cholesterol-inhibiting properties.

The National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) recommends that individuals maintain their cholesterol levels below 200 mg/dL. In the U.S. alone, 90 million adults are estimated to have total serum cholesterol levels in excess of that number.

"Like the Finns and millions of others worldwide, Americans are looking for new and scientifically validated means to manage their cholesterol levels. And the more `lifestyle-friendly,' the better," noted Brian Perkins, president, McNeil Consumer Products Company. "In conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise, dietary ingredients such as stanol ester can help," Mr. Perkins added.

Stanol ester's effectiveness has been documented in a number of peer-reviewed journals, among them the New England Journal of Medicine and Circulation. To date, more than 17 scientific papers have been published that confirm stanol ester's ability to help people achieve healthier cholesterol levels.

"In Finland, where 20 percent of all households have tried Benecol, there is a strong appreciation for the connection between diet and cholesterol," Mr. Bergman of Raisio said. "Given the growing awareness in large parts of the world of cholesterol as a health problem, the Finnish experience with Benecol should be easily replicated."

McNeil Consumer Products Company is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies and is headquartered in Fort Washington, Penn. Johnson & Johnson is the world's largest and most comprehensive manufacturer of health care products. >
