Welcome.

I would be very surprised by missing earnings this quarter, but almost as surprised by beating estimates by a lot. I think the underlying TP-600 business is very healthy, but haven't seen any signs for this past quarter that other revenue streams are going to inflate the numbers.

But next quarter . . . that's a different story. I see a lot of possibilities, including INS (an extra $10 million or so -- with the rest in 2Q99), Cook County (an extra $5 million or so), some bank bio-ID (good for maybe $4 or $5 million of high margin sales), any good announcements in the next three months, of which there are rumors, as well as more AFIS business. So I think there is a potential for a $40 million plus 1Q99, with profits of $.15 a share or better. I haven't spent a lot of time trying to be precise (especially on profits) and, besides, I think we need a couple more announcements to really try to work the numbers.

Meanwhile, the stock price looks like it is strengthening.
