"...why isn't Rain Forest Cafe Inc. in the (Motley Fool) portfolio?"

I2, if memory serves, the guest hosting Fools delivered their
unrestrained Rain Forest Cafe sales pitch on the Brinker show
all the while stridently declaring their absence of a vested interest
in said firm. When the stock subsequently crashed just after that
show's airing, my suspicions were roused. Why had the Fools, who
seemingly did not suffer from the collapse of that Forest, neverthe-
less lead Brinker's flock, in so vociferous and determined a fashion,
to the grim slaughterhouse? At the time, I proposed publicly that this
incident be investigated by appropriate authorities; that proposal
stands.

>Truman brings up a good point; why isn't Rain Forest Cafe Inc. in the portfolio?

Maybe it's a 1999 story.
