eggsellant post about Eggs valuation. Shorts are playing with a powderkeg here. What they are failing to realize is that conventional valuation techniques do not apply. The Internet is the future and will be profitable in ways that we still do not understand. For instance if you think that in 5 years AMZN will still be just books and CD's than you are kidding yourself. They have the business model in place to sell anything and they will. We will see videos, movies on demand, etc. , etc.
I guess it is "macho" to buck the trend and short the high flyer because you will look like an absolute genius when you are right. There is only one problem. You will be flat broke long before you pick the top. You see, you only have one chance to be right and many, many chances to be wrong. Let us look at DELL, people have been calling a top for about 2 years now and it continues to rumble destroying all shorts in its path. It is best to leave your ego out of your investment decisions.

AMZN looks to open with gap down. At 8:25 am bid is already down 3 1/2 from close. If AMZN tanks today this does not bode well for internuts.
