Here's my read on Kate.

I know what you mean, and this is what see as part of her affect. She has a certain syncopation rhythm that isn't obvious to many, especially at first glance. But this offbeat energy does have it's odd fresh pattern which is very much a part of her intrigue.

And don't be fooled - she is clearly smart and a player if more passive aggressive seeming in style, though she probably has no problem asking for and getting it exactly as she wants it.

Physically attractive (love to see a swimsuit photo - Kate, are you up for this?) but IMO her real attraction is her offbeat, daffy-but-not-really, bouncy-nervous-gotta-pee-or-do-something-but-not-really, unassuming-but-not-really kind of energy.

Just move her to a different slot is all I ask, though Griffeth will miss fancying himself a ladies man from when she bounces and bats her eyes at him.
