Thanks for your comments on Lambda. Its hard to debate this subject with someone who is actually involved in the evaluation process, your insights should prove valuable to all. It seems likely to me that SVG would have a financial incentive to encourage the use of alternate lasers, as this would allow them the ability to bring done the cost of obtaining lasers due to more competitive pricing. In regards to the servicing issue, Lambda has been building and servicing Excimer lasers for years longer than Cymer. In addition, with being 80% owned by Coherent gives them access to a worldwide service organization. One point a salesman made for Cymer recently was that Lambda and Komatsu don't have the production capabilities to supply this market in volume. I can't speak to Komatsu, but the people I talk to at Coherent assure me this is not an issue. Again thanks for your reply.
