<<who is nuts enough to pay 20 for a stock that is selling at 7?>>

Let me answer your question with some more questions:

Who was nuts enough to pay $40.00+ for Vivus last fall?

The value of Vivus stock is currently based on trading forces between short and long positions and market sentiment. The short propaganda has scared away many investors who buy their stories that MUSE doesn't work. Look, even the AAU allowed that clown from Texas to spew his bs to all you professionals. What somebody pays for Vivus is going to be based on what that company thinks it can do with future MUSE sales. If the buyer thinks that they can make decent profits on MUSE sales then $20.00/share is not a big deal.

Concerning a buy out, I have one reliable source who tells me that it is not a matter of IF they get bought out but WHEN they get bought out. I have no reason not to believe him. This "rumor" is running rampant on the net and as I am sure some of the posts are fabrications of wishful thinking, others probably have validity.
