John,

I am not sure the contrarian indicator approach works when major news is about to break. The news will determine which way we go and nobody really has a clue what that news might be (although for the past 2 months I thought I knew that confidence has been crushed in the past week). If it is bad I think high teens is likely despite the selloff in the past week. Good news will send it back to the old trading range IMO.

Its a complete coin toss at this point unless you have inside information, although only mchp has really talked positively about Q3 so far so probability suggests the news won't be good. They have to put people at ease regarding symbios and gresham or montgomery will be right and it will be a long dry spell here. FWIW, I saw an LSI employee post on yahoo that he wouldn't buy the stock at these levels because he wants to be more diversified. He also classified lsi as a stock to avoid if you want big growth or if you are impatient. These are not good indications IMO, but I will hold through the call only because reallity wont matter, it will be the story that wilf tells. I am hoping he has a good one lined up.
