Just making zee leetle joke, Andy. I don't think one of those Barney's is likely to try to piggyback on the other, but why not a Goliath.com, etc., feeding off the work AMZN has done and diluting that value of the precious brand?

I don't understand this excitement about brands myself. The last decade has seen a lot of hand wringing by manufacturers and retailers decrying that customers no longer have the brand loyalty they used to have.

Barney's is an upscale retailer with locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Tokyo, etc

They have also been operating in bankruptcy for the last two years-interesting choice of role models!
