Ken...i still use a 12-15 yr old phone....cant say the same for my computer..........somehow this argument seems like apples (please excuse this ) and oranges to me........tim

Telecommunications is far more than 'dial tone'! I have spent 30 years in telecommunications, and IMHO, you haven't a CLUE on this one! If there is so much growth, Then how come there is not a hot company that makes Telephones? I know all of the switch and router equipment is growing, But while it is telecommunications, It is really more computer and Internet / data traffic related. I guess I was talking about Voice and home telephone lines when I refereed to the Telephone industry. You know the old classic part of it. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Jim
