Mang: I believe that we are near the end of the near term consolidation. One can go to the askresearch site and check on all the technical indicators. You will find that the RSI is at ~50%, money flow still at 40%, but the slow stochastics is already at 20%! That is a good sign and suggests that maybe tomorrow is an ideal day for entry on any weakness. What a painful three weeks to give back 10% of its worth (or maybe 40-50% of the gain)! But it'll prove to be worth the wait. We may get back above 30 and then wait for the 18-month down trend to cross at about 32 or so. When that happens,it will be another day for celebration.

Yes the adsl modem connects to the nic and in most cases will not work without it. The is no additional box to split the line. The setup is computer, internal nic, connected to external netspeed modem, and then to the wall. There is a filter on all the lines in the house to eliminate line noise.
