--> dilution has already occurred (First of all Iceburg, on a personal note, you are becoming emotionally attached to this stock. I've adjusted my analysis and trading style on this stock based on the information out there, not my position. If the story you bought in on has changed, trade accordingly.) You are right that short selling has the affect of distributing the PP. So that is a positive, if volume can be maintained. However, take a look at the charts. It is hard to maintain volume or interest without a press release every other day. And, that seems to be bringing in only momentum players. NAVR in my analysis is a high risk play right now that needs to be watched day to day. That's why I only play it a a day-trade stock. IFLY, however, is a "pure" play and long-term pick. It has a very strong and growing core business. And, it has adopted a strategy to take advantage of the number 1 growing Internet business: Retail Airline Travel. According to the governments report on e-commerce ( ecommerce.gov , Appendix 4) Airline Ticket Sales will become the number 1 Internet product by the year 2002. So the fact that 800 Travel Systems (NASDAQ: IFLY) is developing an Internet product that will be released before the end of the year is very positive. Take a look at todays IFLY action in a very weak market. We saw large Institutional size orders go in. The price has maintained a strong base and is trading at 1 point above its IPO price. Earnings will come out on or before Aug 15. This is the closest we will get to being in on a play like this close to its IPO price. I never recommended IFLY as a short or day-trade. It is one of those stocks you buy low and keep in your long-term portfolio. The Financials are in good shape (no dilution surprises) and is growing at a very fast rate. Its Internet offering promises to increase interest significantly and its float is currently only about 1.2 million. So there is a tremendous upside potential.
