Good question Dave? Darn good question. Where were we when DIRECTV sent out the bid for video file servers and back-up? I speculate that is why "Cousin Eddie" and "NUMBERS" hired the future COO who they call the "SALEMAN". He needs to pursue each and every deal. We can not afford to miss multi-million deals to HP!!

And, "MAGGIE", our new, virtually on-line digital video server product with 12 TERABYTES of storage, should address the digital video server broadcast market needs.

WHEN? are we done intalling "MAGGIE" at CNN? Where? is the press release(S)?

AMPEX has been quiet about "MAGGIE" for what ever reasons. My hope is that they will start talking about "MAGGIE" soon, real soon. I also speculate that "MAGGIE" will not only be more than adequate for the needs of digital video-on-demand server environments found in digital broadcast, Inter-net broadcast, Intr-anet broadcast...but commercial (digital) data processing as well. Going out on my tree limb here, according to todays IBD issue there is a $200 BILLION mainframe market at which 12% wants/needs replacement. If "MAGGIE" is equal to past AMPEX products and we can get 2% of 12% of $ 200 BILLION, we would have a lot of revenue.

The "SALESMEN" has the digital: aquistion, processing and storage products and nothing but huge opportunities. Let's hope he starts closing deals in this 3rd quarter.
