Point taken, on the general action in small caps. But I see several reasons why SPYG might buck the trend. It didn't have much of a run up into earnings, only went from about 11 to 12, and closed lower both Mon & Tues. Earnings were released this morning, and after an expected sell-off following the gap, it continued to get action, especially late in the day despite some probable short selling. Also, even if the Congress isn't successful w/the filtering law, it will take time to unravel. I agree there will be another round of profit taking tomorrow, but wonder if SPYG might be strong enough to overcome and run for a few more days?
