A few nice arguments for an issue that doesn't exist. There are enough good reasons for Amazon.com to not get into software and remain focused on establishing and making a profit in the increasingly competitive areas they now service. You can debate this non-issue all night. Call the company and tell them they should take your advice so that sales can continue to expand at unprofitable rates, management becomes unfocused, and current alliances dissolve.
