Not much.

What does this thread think about a HWP and DELL merger
within 2 to 3 years???

Rahul:

Not a very likely scenario as there is plenty of room for growth left in Dell from within.Matter of fact this has been explicitly stated by M.Dell many a time.

Who needs HWP. HWP is fat, DELL is lean. NO way no how.

RD,

HWP has been at the top so long it has lost sight of their original mission. IMHO the company is being run completely by accountants, and as we all know, all they can do is count! (No offense to accounts meant, but after, accounting is 'counting'.) When that happens, a lot of research is all of a sudden 'not profitable', and the basis for new products is lost. As the older products 'mature', there is nothing else coming on line.

If HWP even got close to DELL, I would sell DELL immediately!

Regards,

Ken
