You have 1/2 a point. If it is ok for people to be positive "hype" it should also be ok for people to be negative "bash".
However I don't believe I have ever seen a hypster who claims to have no financial interest in the stock and to be hyping the stock purely out of the goodness of his heart to try to help Joe Public make a little better return on his meager savings. Whereas that seems to be standard operating procedure for our friendly bashers. In my very humble and less than perfect opinion the playing field seems to be a tad unlevel these days. But then perhaps that is the way the market is supposed to work, eh?

You can hype or bash, it is up to you, I do not care, however, I do not buy that either hypers or bashers are responsible for individual actions to buy sell or hold.

That is the individual responsibility.

What I do not agree with, is that if someone questions the stock, (for whatever the reasons may be), and so long those reasons are valid, and stated, I do not think that such individual is per se a basher. Again, so long so the question is valid, it is irrelevant if the person who posts the valid question has bought or not the stock, the key is the VALIDITY of the question.

The fact that a question (a real one) exists , should be a concern to all interested parties, who brings it up is irrelevant.

Again the key is: Is it valid?

The individual should be capable of deciding by himself or herself what to do with the stock, regardless of how many bashers/hypesters there are around....

My opinion only.
