There is a real lesson in 3DFX. They come out with great numbers and great growth and their stock is getting pounded. It is pretty clear that WS hates this industry right now. I guess it is hard to blame them. On another note, 3DFX has done something that many of us were hoping S3 would do, create brand awareness. They have a legitimate brand name that is recognized by their target consumers (gamers). What I think this means is that even if S3 and others come out with competitive chips, 3DFX will be be able to sell their chips for more. Phil
