Hi Dave, I guess the only time I buy Convertible Bonds is when I can buy them at $0.50 on the buck, so hadn't thought about the conversion factor. Never bought one new. However, the concept of watching for bond issues in general as an interest rate trend change is possible, whether they be straight or converts. We may well know about an interest rate shift from other sources by the time the corporates go to lock up low rates, but even then, it might be good for confirmation.
