How many accounts do internet users have? It is not like getting a membership to Costco. I must have 90 accounts spread all over, more than half of them I never use or even keep tract of. Many people unfamiliar with the ease of establishing an internet account draw the wrong conclusions from these reported figures. Amazon.com is a leader in book sales but it is easy for users to establish accounts at several online book sellers and shop for best price or to take advantage of special promotions that don't make the company any money.

Losing patience?

Look. Account size is a viable metric. Of course some are inactive. That's wht they report revenues, and why they report repeat customers as a percent of total business.
