Current pre-opening bid at 36. Well done, everybody.

Maybe selling expenses includes the advertising for Quest. Also, wasn't the acquisition charge supposed to be around 50 cents per share?

We'll find out about selling expenses on the conference call. Possibly for development of more advertising? TV time, even though it's being split isn't cheap. And seems like alot more web banners and magazine ads. Time will tell...

Overall, the news looks good and I think the pre-opening market bids on THQI were running around $35 1/2 at 8:25 am from people in the AOL chat room this morning (we were all waiting for the earnings announcement). That's still a gap up from yesterday's close.

Costs up quite a bit. Wonder why selling expense has gone up so much? What is included in selling expense? Is this where additions to the reserves are accounted for? >>

Sigmund,

The selling expense increase was attributed to Quest ads and slightly higher marketing expenses on other games.
