You do have a point. I'm not a fan of censorship. A thread, however, is built from the collection of comments by long term contributors and its climate is established by their acceptance of new and differing viewpoints. It is a creation of the people involved. The wild anti-hype of the bashers essentially destroys the character of the thread as well as what it does to the stock. It feels more like a home invasion which does not fall under the same rules. How to stop it though? I don't know any way other than arbitrary action by SI in suspending people, not a preferred action, but in order to protect their business property they will have to address the problem. Thanks for the Dell comments - I've been looking for a copy of "Molecular Biology for Dummies" - can't seem to find one yet. Graham
