If you're disappointed with 37 cents, should ERTS investors be livid over their 8 cents? I'll take the 37 cents and 36 share price soon to be 55 any day over ERTS' 55 share price soon to be 60(?) Besides, THQ now has $2.27 in past 12 months earnings for a current PE of still under 16. Which stock is undervalued?

<< We need to know whether sales of WCW is declining rapidly or THQ just trying to increase reserve for first half of 1999. Or in worst case (not that bad actually), Sales of WCW is inflated during Q1.>>

Andy,

I think you nailed it with inflated sales of WCW in q1. I knew the channel was stuffed pretty heavy, but apparently it was even heavier than I thought, because there weren't many dollars coming from WCW domestically this quarter.

Keep in mind that WCW games have stayed on the top 20 charts for april, and may. Nitro was 9th in april, and 18th in May. NWO was 14th and 19th respectively. I expect both to fall off the top 20 in June.

So it was still doing well at retail, the shipments just occured in the first quarter.

Which means it may be hard to keep that quarter over quarter streak alive come 1q 99.
