I guess the BCTel announcement confirms the existence of the unnamed RBOC which can only be one of about four that remains after mergers and pending mergers. The likely ones fall in the 50mln subscriber base range.

Well, that's good news for me. I live in Vancouver and have been waiting for the full service to get here. I'm going to phone BC Tel tomorrow to see when it will become available.
