Rio Tinto: If the name is new to you, I first ran into Rio Tinto almost 30 years ago when I was a Fulbright scholar in Sumatra and Rio Tinto was the largest foreign presence in the town I was in. This is a huge company and a huge win for TAVA. Some of TAVA's proudest work in the base business was a contract to improve production at a Cypress-Amax mine. This is another major foot in the door for TAVA's core business - as well as a huge win for the Y2K business.

>>"subsidiary" ... TAVA Y2kOne, Inc? - Hmmm, now that's interesting. <<

Glad I wasn't the only one who spotted this. It would be interesting to hear the reasons behind the structure change. Also be interesting to know who is running the subsidiary, how financial reporting will be broken down etc..

Regarding the lack of stock price response to the Rio Tinto news, it should not be so surprising - the master agreement seems to be a discount structure with Ts & Cs rather than committed cash.
