Greg:
<<< Will the same happen to DELL?>>>
No
The action of Dells stock price must be a source of humor and amazement to Mikie and the the directors. That is, they put a item on the agenda to increase authorized shares. Result is many people including Dell employees interpret it as a immediate stock split probably to be announced at the meeting. That wasn't what they meant at all, but they cannot say " No,employees, we don't intend to split yet"
So the stock price goes high before an "all is well" type meeting.
But they don't split and the momentum players who bought on rumor
dump huge quantities which are snapped up at low prices by those who know they will split absolutely else why the 3 bil shares ????
I don't count on Dell to have "blowaway" earnings on Aug 18 th,
although they have as good a chance as any company to do that,IMO
best guess is they will something very close to the whisper no. as they have recently done. But they will not disappoint, and forward
looking comments are going to be fabulous.
I am not counting on an immediate tanking after earnings to "get in cheap" as stock is going up in price before then.
Buy Dell anytime, any price...........
Have fun today(gg)
