I guess you would have to speculate on the head manufacturing but thats too easy. Anyway, this is going to be an interesting company to watch for a while. But then, it always has been.

I think it is possible that Seagate, under the direction
of Luzco and Perlman, intend to compete in the storage
market as well as a supplier of disk drives. That means
competing against their customers. But I think it is the
right strategy and other driver makers will likely do the
same thing.
