Lets assume a few things first. A company is not a person or there private lives. I think if you assume that OVIS was an operating company and had revenues, multiple locations makign clothes lookign to get into other business such as bottled water etc. you would assume that it requires a certain infrastructure as a minimum to operate this business in a professional manner. It is obvious that the detractors of Ovis that made this web site wanted to scare shareholders into selling. But they also provided a service to these same people by providing information not previously avbailable. The Hialeigha (sp?) facility is pretty much a dump and the picture showed it that way. The ten slep facility used to be a vet's office and is very smalland the picture showed it to be so. The main office was in strip mall and although maybe they tried to make it look as bad as possible they didn't alter the shot. I for one began to have serious doubts about this company at this precise point.

Of course they did not show the best points of the buildings in question, that was not their purpose. I assumedthey were doing so. I knew the people responsible were not ones to try and make the comp[any look good. If you were taking photos for a company brochure you would make it look as positive as possible. I would assume that to be the case as I looked at the brochure. As long as neither party altered the pictures it is ethical in my mind to do what I have outlined.

I assume these people knew what the effect would be on people like me that had no idea that the company was in fact lying to its shareholders. I assume they knew about the lack of any contracts with WalMart DKNY JC Penney etc. I assume they knew the Pilar de Caribe was a home for fish at the bottom of some harbor. I assume they knew the company was little more than a shell. It seems they did their homework and executed a plan. I also assume that some of the people involved may have broken the law and/or SEC rules. Of course this is not acceptable to me but it does not make the site itself a problem. It is not illegal and in fact provided a service to shareholders.
What was your reaction when you for the first time realized this company is not making clothes becausethey have no resources to do so? What was your reaction when you saw the ten sleep facility was dinky and definately small capacity. What was your reaction when you found out the Nicaragua facility had been foreclosed on. What was your reaction when you found out the boat had sunk. My reaction was to sell over half my shares. I soldthe rest when the money didn't come and didn't come from the merger. I luckily got out a week or two before the halt.

BTW how did you know I have twins? As for the Master site. IF the pictures someone has are in the public domain or you own them and produced them in a legal manner there is nothing wrong with it. You may not be my friend if you make a nasty looking site but it is your right to do so. Although discussions about a site for a corporation vs. one for a person are slightly different.
