Planet City - symbol: PINC. I called the company because I read rumors about a deal soon to be announced with a major ISP (rumored to be AOL). Planet City sells a piece a software that can evaluate and fix the Y2K problem on PCs. the float is only around 2.3 million. I called Greg Craft at Planet City this morning (1-800-219-8785). He confirmed that a major deal with an ISP would be announced. He said that the announcement probably won't occur until early next week. He declined to reveal who the ISP is. He does not want people spreading the company's name all over the internet.

(Nasdaq: TREV - news) today announced an expansion to $2.5 million of its current license agreement with Warga Media Sdn Bhd, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for its patented document management software engine. TREEV's technology will act as the storage and distribution engine for the Kuala Lumpur Internet Exchange (KLIX), South East Asia's newest Internet Business Utility being developed & deployed by Warga Media on the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). Progress on the KLIX project has been greatly accelerated since April of this year, when an initial agreement of $841,000 was signed. The new agreement calls for a multi-application license of $2.5 million and an ongoing annuity based upon business performance.
