(Off Topic) Traveling Man, the Cl- emissions from volcanoes have to travel through the lower atmosphere which contains lots of moisture-little of it reaches the ozone layer. If it did, we would not have an ozone layer. Chlorine is one of the most reactive elements known(I think second only to fluorine.) It forms HCL and other compounds very readily. Chlorine in CFCs are chemically bonded in place and held in check until they reach the atmosphere.
That's the difference. What's a few dollars spent to help protect us all from cancer?

I do understand your viewpoint, however, Many environmental causes are nothing but GARBAGE based on ignorance.
The CFC problem is real. I suggest you do a little more research in to and I think what you will find may scare you. Cheers.
