irby - We're familiar with NASDAQ site for shorts but NY? Do you have a site for NY shorts & do you think month old info is of much value? Also I would like to learn of Insider info (free if poss). Only know of that shown on Yahoo & perhaps Quote.com. Again I have to wonder how valuable this seems if not quite up to date. An example was MSPG with it's tremendous run but with Insider info not positive (re Yahoo) & shorts, only fair if I remember correctly ( re site you gave). Of course MSPG with earnings & split, enjoyed a double whammy but surely insiders should have been alert to that? I tend to think current insider & institutional holdings are very vital in assessing the potential & volatility re the volume to float ratio. I just am not informed enough to accurately gauge the insider/institutional portion. Maybe I'm just getting over my head here but any info would be much appreciated. tide
