BM, Cognicases' interest revenues on cash or temporary investments are predominately denominated in the United States dollars. As of the end 97' Cognicase had no plans to hedge the risks associated with the fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.

Cognicase stated that ONLY an INCREASE in the value of the Canadian dollar would have an adverse effect on the company's operating margins.

Hope this helps,

Risky

What has led to the recent devaluation of the Canadian dollar? Also, what are the possible implications of Cognicase's shares trading on the Toronto Exchange and on the Nasdaq market? For instance, would it be possible for COG shares to appreciate 10% in one year and for COGIF shares at the same to appreciate 40%?
