As I recall the conference call, Farrell said that when they bought GameFX there were 1 1/2 teams and they now have 2 teams and is looking to expand the studio to four teams. This suggests that they will be adding two more teams. I guess MPRS is a possible source for two teams.

JGreg,

You make a good point, I would agree with one first interpretation that it doesn't seem likely that MPRS is going to do an acquisition. On your second point with respect to the "humor", I understand why you said it, but it may be reaching a bit. I think that I'm going to take it on the face of it, i.e, it was just friendly humor. Farrell was given an opportunity at the end of the session to suggest upward estimates for 3Q and 4Q and he declined to make an adjustment. In some sense this seems in contradiction to the split which is usually forward looking about revenue>earnings>sharevalue. I'm sure Farrell would like to see some of the volatility out of the stock. How does one do that? What might have happened this morning if THQ missed by a penny? So even if you believe that the earnings estimates are low by (hypothetically) 20%, do you say so and take the risk that you miss by a penny or two?

By the way who ticked off the market this morning? There is a lot of red out there.

Best Regards,
Jim
