OR...

Sign up with Yahoo and then..

4. Go to Bill screen
5. "Which Bill?"
6. "From which account?" (bank accounts that person has)
7. Transaction is sent to processor (INTEGRION or MSFDC or VISA International or Brokerage account or whoever) for payment and credit to payee.

Benny:

<<This model obviously kills, slaughters, and be-heads bank branding>>

Bank branding is an oxymoron. For transaction purposes, the net IS the bank. The medium IS the message.

Ok, Not that I agree with Charlie (yet), but let's try to see if this would work.

1. Consumer logs on to internet, brings up Yahoo portal.
2. See's button stamped Free Bill Pay
3. Consumer thinks, yeah I need to do that, and clicks on the "Button"
4. Consumer is taken to:
This Web Site, with Logo's of all the largest and most recognized brand names on the Planet, GTE, AT&T, yada, yada.. How they have come together with a service offered via the internet through these participating Financial Institutions explain the benefits for the biller, bank and consumer, best part is it's free.....direct the traffic.

A. To Biller Sites for addition info in how the XYZ Biller is doing it.
B. To a Financial Institution to get set up with your account info and such.

And then you could also opt for a....

C. My Brain Dead Bank ain't on this List, and go direct.

But that's what this is all about isn't it....see I'm doing e-Bill now and my Bank that I'm paying from doesn't even have an internet connection. I just needed the routing #, and account number to participate.
