Hello Mr. Trocchi:
Thank you for the kind compliment. I enjoy the insights found in many of your
posts. As a young child I baffled through understanding Old English, which was an enriching experience. I struggle to say what I mean and mean what I say -- and I believe the effort is worthwhile.
I just read a report passed to me today by my broker from an analyst at their firm about AMZN. I was in an exacting mood with respect to AMZN so I'll quote my remarks below:
"Cute parody of an analysis. I kind of wonder what is motivating the
PR--pursuit of some hope of fat placement cuts
for [brokerage]? That breach of integrity would stew his goose with me in short
order. Seriously, this is not an FA. ... There are several questions suggested that a responsible analyst should have talked to someone at the company about them. This kind of irresponsible, glib, gliding with the wind helps to keep foolish dollars thrown at dartboard AMZN. I am appalled you have a guy like this on staff.
Thanks for the eye-opener. If you wish, tell him hello from me and to
fire himself, too."
I'd like the analyst to at least hear the last line and give it some thought.
Best regards,
m
