Scott, your dead right. This stock is not going up +7 because one mouth says the stock missed earning. Although you can be sure we will hear more from this one mouth.

Their statement is incorrect. THey made and operational profit of $138,000, but net was $254,000. It is only this difference which was attributed to the sale/ capital gains.....the sale was for $4.5 million, but an offsetting writeoff of $5 million.

Bottom line, they whupped expectations.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Vignette sale? Vignette is the type of company that could have a very successful public offering. I don't think I'd be selling any of it at this point. Was it purely to off-set the NBC/Snap charge? Does anyone know what percentage of Vignette CNWK still owns?
