Steve:

<<Quad-K, I like the November calls you mentioned and am picking some up today. >>

The Nov 12.5 calls are still asking 1 1/4 at the moment, while the sell-off in broader issues has turned my quote screen into Big Red. This market is moving much like the tides, it flooded during late June into mid-July lifting many boats to new highs, and now its going back out again, creating many whirlpools sinking ships that have significant exposure to Asia. Something that I'm sure traders on the right side just love to see.

Regards,

QuadK

I also know several Novell employees who are holding on to even their vested options in anticipation of good things to come soon (witness; GroupWise 5.5 (around August), Netware 5 (around September), and NDS on NT (around the end of year)). Their excitement and anticipation of these events is high! I'm convinced that the year blackout of repriced options caused SOME employees who would have exercised at various times throughout the year to pile up on July 20th. Most (at least the ones I know) continue to patiently wait for a big pay off for their hard work. I find their confidence and excitement extremely encouraging.
