Ever-New Drug Cocktails for Containing AIDS: Drugs' New Era

(an excerpt follows:)

One of the most promising new HIV treatments comes from
Immune Response Corp., a company co-founded by the late Jonas
Salk, who developed the polio vaccine and who as far back as 1987
was looking at immunization as a way of fighting AIDS. Immune
Response, in a partnership with Agouron Pharmaceuticals Inc.,
could apply for U.S. approval next year of Remune, its treatment
to boost the immune system's response in people infected with
HIV.

We certainly deserve some good press.

Additional online resource -- for a year or two I have been a subscriber to Bud Leedom's "San Diego Stock Report". Bud analyzes some 130 publicly-traded companies, using a proprietary charting technique to track accumulation in a given stock. (It is clearly based on On Balance Volume, with some tweaks I am not privvy to.)

He has just started a Web site and, for now, the charts are free. When you go there, and click on IMNR, you will see that his chart shows significant accumulation over the period of the chart -- one year. That was sufficient to land IMNR in his list of 15 "Top Rated Stocks for July"

If you want to see an example of the absolute opposite, pull up the chart for FPAM, which has shown signs of a bailout for months and which finally declared bankruptcy last week. According to Bud's system, there was ample warning to get out of the stock before losing everything.

Here's the site. Enjoy:
